Dr. Stephanie Loucks-Gardner
President
Dr. Stephanie Gardner serves as President of the Board for the Hotshots Power Soccer Team, where she leads efforts to grow the program, build community partnerships, and expand access to competitive adaptive athletics. She is passionate about supporting athlete development, increasing visibility for power soccer, and creating sustainable opportunities for players and their families.
With a Doctor of Human Services in Organizational Leadership and Management, Stephanie brings experience in program development and collaboration with community partners. As both a leader and a parent of a player, she is deeply invested in the team’s mission and committed to building meaningful sponsor relationships that make a lasting impact.
Shelby Harris
Vice President
Shelby is a Player and a member of the board. She has attended Ivy Tech working on a Cullinary Degree. See her team bio about her player experience.
Denise Lett Arland
Treasurer
Denise serves as Treasurer for the board and handles finances as well as annual tax and nonprofit reporting. Denise is the parent of a former Hot Shots athlete, as her son Zach played for 13 years. Zach left the sport in 2025 to pursue his other passion, acting in community theater. Denise brings a wealth of nonprofit management experience to the board as the co-founder and former Executive Director for FUSE, a local nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities. Denise led the organization for 23 years before retiring in 2019.
Angie Chaffee
Head Coach
Coach Angie brings unwavering dedication, leadership, and a deep commitment to athlete development. She is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every player can grow, succeed, and experience the joy of competition. Both on and off the pitch, she focuses on teaching essential skills, building confidence, and fostering teamwork. Her coaching philosophy centers on meeting each athlete where they are, empowering them with opportunities to excel, and ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve their personal best. With her strong advocacy for adaptive sports and her genuine care for every athlete, she continues to be a driving force in expanding opportunities and strengthening the impact of the program
